3rd Annual
The Field Hockey Federation & The California Cup Organizing Committee is organizing the 3rd Annual
Cal Sixes Six-a-Side Field Hockey Tournament which will be held over the Labor Day Weekend from
August 30 - September 1, 2008 at Moorpark, California. The same site as the California Cup. All
matches will be held on the main astro turf field with 6' x 6' boards on the side lines.
If you would like to play in this great & exciting tournament where the ball bounces off the sidelines and
you can score from anywhere on the field, then this is the tournament for you.
We invite you to be a part of this Annual Tournament. Due to the limited number of time slots on the
main astro-turf field available, space is extremely limited. All entries will be accepted on a first come
first accepted basis.
All teams can elect to field any combination of male & female players on their rosters and teams are
not required to provide designated umpires nor pay a fine in lieu. Parking is free as well. All teams are
guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches. Semi-finalists could play up to 6 matches. Team entry includes
refreshments for all players and umpires during all matches and tickets to the Tournament Dinner on
Saturday Night. Spectators and family members may purchase dinner tickets for $10 at the
tournament site.
Top 4 finishing teams* in each division in the tournament are guaranteed automatic acceptance in
next year’s tournament if registered by the deadline.
